WILD WEST MODIFIED TOUR AS A
NEW DISTRIBUTOR.
The
Wild West Modified Tour (WWMT) was founded in September of 2006, and
was formed to sanction modified racing in the western region of the
United States. The WWMT joined the IMCA Racing Series, which we have
sponsored for 10 years, in 2007 with 16 races, at 8 tracks, in 5
different states, with a total of 163 IMCA modified's competing. In
2008 WWMT has race 18 races, at 11 tracks, in 6 different states,
with an upcoming Top 20 Showdown set for November 15th during the
annual Duel in the Desert. During this time WWMT has seen a need for
quality racing components and have joined forces with us to provide a
better quality of parts at the WWMT racing events. We would like to
welcome the WWMT as new distributor, and wish everyone good luck at

Jill,
Jamie, and Hailey represented Kluhsman Racing Components at the
Nationwide and Sprint Cup races at Kansas Speedway September 27-28, where
Jill and Jamie had their first NASCAR race experience.
Getting
into the Nationwide garage early Saturday morning, Hailey introduced
Jill and Jamie to Mike Cluka. Mike is the shock engineer for the #47
Clorox JTG Racing Team and he is also the son of one of KRC's sales
representative Ed Cluka. Mike gave them the pleasure of introducing
them to the members and driver (Kelly Bires) of the #47 Clorox JTG
Racing Team. We would like to thank Mike and the crew for letting us
in on the racing action, and congratulations on your team's top 10
finish at Kansas Speedway! Good luck on the rest of the season. On
Saturday Denny Hamlin, the #18 Z-Line Designs Joe Gibbs Racing Team,
would pull away with the win.
Sunday was another busy day in the garage with the Sprint Cup teams
getting ready for the race that afternoon. While walking down
pit-road they talked with Ira-Joe Hussey. Ira is the front tire
changer for the #20 Home Depot Joe Gibbs Racing Team (driver: Tony
Stewart). Joe Gibbs Racing has used KRC products for many years. KRC
has19 product wins total this season, 9
Nationwide Series and 10 Sprint Cup Series victories.
Brandon
Stegall of John Howard Enterprises (JHE) took them out to driver
introductions, where they met Jimmie Johnson (driver #48 Lowe's
Hendrix Racing Team). Jimmie is the current Sprint Cup point's leader
and won the Sprint Cup race that Sunday. We have supplied JHE with
racing products for the Sprint Cup All-Star Pit Crew Challenge and
Speed Street for the last few years. Thank you again Brandon for all
of your time!
We

first of September. KRC is a National sponsor for
the north and south regions for E-Mods and National sponsor for
A-Mods. Mark Noble come away with a third place
finish. Congratulations Mark and crew! Noble has used KRC
products for many years and product use was high at the track. KRC
has also been a sponsor of the IMCA for over 10 years. Good
Luck on the rest of the season Mark!
MEET THE CNC OPERATOR
Toni
Marinelli has been with Kluhsman Racing Components/Kluhsman Machine,
Inc. since Februrary 2004. Toni operates our CNC
turning center and is also in charge of our statistic process
control. Toni also helps with the packaging of orders from some of
our customers, such as Titan Motorsports, Kraft and Modine along with
many others. Toni lives in Reeds, Missouri with her husband and
children. Thanks for all of your hard work Toni!
